Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is necessary for body piercings and we do accept walk ins for tattoos but they are based on availability of artists and are based on a first come first serve basis.
However, if you're interested in a larger tattoo or piercing project, we suggest coming in and speaking with an artist ahead of time about your ideas. Appointments are suggested for anyone who wants a custom tattoo design or piercing project. A deposit is needed when your appointment is set.
What if I can't make it to my appointment?
Deposits are non-refundable, however as long as you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice, they are transferable to a future appointment. Things happen, let us know by calling as soon as possible. If you cancel an appointment you are also forfeiting your deposit.
How much is my tattoo going to cost?
Giving prices is tricky considering size, placement, and design. To give a point of reference, that is sort of like asking "How much does a car cost?" Some cars cost $500, some cost $50,000. More importantly, some cars are better quality than others. Same goes for tattoos. Coming to the shop is the only way we will be able to give you an accurate price.
What do I need to do to prepare for my tattoo?
Make sure you get a good nights rest before getting tattooed, and eat a good meal before you come in. Getting tattooed while sleep deprived, hungry, hung over or sick is not ideal. Wear something comfortable and make sure you wear clothes that leave the area you're getting tattooed easily accessible. There's a possibility ink will stain your clothing so be sure to avoid wearing anything you're overly attached to.
What should I bring with me?
Most importantly A GOVERNMENT ISSUED VALID ID. Licenses, State ID's, Passports, and Military ID's are all good. Paper ID's are not a valid form of identification. No exceptions.
The second most important thing is a method of payment. Cash is always preferred, but we do accept credit cards. There will be a 3% service fee on any card transactions or we have an atm on site. If you are unsure of how to pay please give us a call beforehand. No personal checks.
We also recommend you bring things to keep you busy, laptops, Nooks, iPods, iPads, books, etc are great ideas. If you're sitting for a long session, snacks are always a great idea. You are allowed to have one person with you while getting tattooed or pierced and we recommend that you avoid bringing groups of people as it will only distract you and your artist from focusing on your relaxed state of mind.
What is your policy on minors?
With parent consent, our minimum age for any piercing other than earlobes is 16. Our minimum age for earlobes is 10 years old. We cannot do any genital piercings, nipple piercings, or tongue piercings on anyone under 18 years old.
Unfortunately, we no longer tattoo minors.
